Wedding

november 24th 2019

We shot this wedding on a Sunday in November after I had second-shot a Friday and Saturday wedding that same weekend. It was a lot of work in a short time but as this thespian couple might say THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

And you know what? Austin and I had a blast with Liz and Tommy and their family and friends. We felt so much love coming from every direction we almost didnt know what to do with it! I can honestly say that the day hardly even felt like work. That's the dream people.

The minute they stepped in front of our cameras at their engagement session it was immediately clear to me that Liz and Tommy have that forever kind of love. They are naturally so playful and cute and at ease with each other! Seriously just to be a witness to that level of partnership and understanding makes me all jittery (like that time I accidentally drank caffeinated boba). And there was no shortage of those loving and carefree attitudes the day of their wedding!

From the super unique and fun getting ready and reception venue (https://www.towerhomesteadguestranch.com/) to their gorgeous Joshua Tree ceremony and everything in between, this was one for the books.

Samantha is absolutely wonderful. My husband and I got married in November and we wanted photos that felt soft and romantic to match our desert wedding. We ended up doing an engagement session with her a couple months before the wedding and we had a blast getting to know her and her husband Austin, who is also a fabulous photographer. We felt like we were on a double date instead of posing for photos, and it really helped us feel comfortable for the day of the wedding. They were an awesome team, super professional and very easy to talk to. Samantha asked lots of great questions leading up to the big day, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Great price, great people...and we can't wait to use them again for maternity photos (when we're ready for kids haha)!
